Once your DataDachs webhosting plan has been provisioned, you can immediately start setting up your website, databases, and email accounts. This guide walks you through the first steps.
1. Log In to the Webhosting Control Panel (cPanel)
For security reasons, we never send plaintext passwords via email. You can access your cPanel directly through the product management section in the STREAMPANEL Client Portal . For a visual walkthrough, see Webhosting Management / Credentials .
2. Verify Your Domain and SSL Certificate
- Domains with Webhosting: Ensure your domain points to our webhosting nameservers (
joel.joxoonsin.com,emilya.joxoonsin.com,sophia.joxoonsin.com,loona.joxoonsin.com). See Nameserver Settings for details. - Free SSL Certificate: As soon as your domain resolves to your hosting package, Let’s Encrypt (AutoSSL) automatically issues and renews a free SSL certificate for
https://.
3. Select Your PHP Version and Extensions
In cPanel under “Select PHP Version”, you can switch between PHP 4.4 and PHP 8.3 at any time and enable required PHP extensions. Learn more in Change PHP Version / Modules .
4. Upload Your Website or Install a CMS
- Upload Files via FTP or File Manager: Upload your website files into the
public_htmldocument root. Check our recommendations on File permissions (chmod) for files and folders . - WordPress & CMS Platforms: Use the Softaculous Apps Installer or install your CMS manually using a MariaDB database. For WordPress sites, read DataDachs and WordPress Environments .
